Dr. Kim Cooper is a Fellowship Trained Pediatric Ophthalmologist with an extensive background in treating childhood eye diseases including amblyopia, strabismus, and blocked tear ducts. She attended medical school at Johns Hopkins University, completed her internship at St Joseph's Hospital, in Phoenix, Arizona followed by her Ophthalmology Residency at Stanford University Hospital, and finished her subspecialty training with a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Cooper is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She sees children of all ages, and specializes in young children including premature infants, those with developmental delay, and dyslexia. She established her private practice in the Bay Area in 1994
Dr. Rupali Apte has special expertise in cataracts and glaucoma issues and treatment of patients with diabetes. She attended medical school at the University of California, San Francisco, completed her internship at the University of Illinois, and also completed her Ophthalmology Residency at Stanford University Hospital in 1995. Dr. Cooper and Dr. Apte have worked together now for over two decades.
